HOLD TIGHT
BOOK COVER

The book cover is designed for Jeffrey Boakye’s book called Hold Tight. The book explores the nature of grime music in East London. Celebrating over fifty key songs that make up Grime's DNA,  Boakye explores the meaning of the music and why it has such resonance in the UK. The rip in the book indicates the broken nature of the society that Grime music represents. The band-aid is a symbol of the music acting as a healer to the violence and wounds of Black Britain. Orange has been used to represent hope. The final book has been made using thermal printing at LCC.
