An essay on typography
Softwares used: Adobe Indesign and illustrator
This book was a dos a dos and can be opened from both sides. The first part of the book was a typographical depiction of Eric Gill’s work, “An Essay On Typography.” The author debates the pros and cons of industrialization and mass production for the creative industry. My designs aim to highlight the questions raised by the author in every chapter. The second book was based on exploring the relationship between sound and typography. It aims to capture thirty seconds in time based on the recording of an Indian wedding. The sound captured mainly consists of the 'Dhol' traditional Indian instruments played to the tunes of celebration and happiness.
